The End of Sacrifice brings together four decades of John Howard Yoder's published and unpublished writings on capital punishment. Through sophisticated biblical, sociological, and historical analysis Yoder demonstrates that capital punishment has always been a sacred sacrificial rite performed by religious specialists or public servants. Since the death of Jesus brought a decisive end to all sacrifices for sin, Yoder argues, Christians should proclaim its abolition.

A verse-by-verse study of the book of Acts with emphasis on the historical development of the church during the first thirty years of its life.
 
HI 310 Restoration History 
A study of the development and doctrines of that movement given impetus by Alexander Campbell [et al.] at the inception of the 19th century, and today identified with the body known as the Church of Christ or Christian Church.

Matt Allison (currently a GLCC adjunct professor) will join the College full time in July as the Psychology/Counseling professor.  Matt (graduated Valedictorian from GLCC) earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University and expects to begin a doctoral program in Christian Counseling this year. 

Brian Slenski joined GLCC in May as Registrar.  He most recently served as the Registrar’s Office Associate at Alma College.  He earned a Master of Science degree in Student Affairs Administration from Radford University.
