The spirit of the site is that you pledge a certain amount (to be determined by you) for a goal that you want to reach in your life – similar to a walk-a-thon where your friends can donate for every mile that you walk.

The College was happy to welcome British actor David Payne to the stage of the Doty Center on September 13, 2012. An Evening with C.S. Lewis captured the essence of the man who created the Narnia Chronicles in an enthralling, laughter-filled and poignant performance...it was utterly captivating!

Once again the College sponsored the Lugnuts Christian Family Night on Sunday evening, August 26, 2012 in downtown Lansing. The game was followed by a free Christian concert by Rush of Fools. This was the final concert of their week-long tour raising money for charities all over the state of Michigan. GLCC has sponsored this concert tour and the Lugnuts Christian Family Night for the past three years.

The 2012 GLCC Golf Benefit was successful again this year as 100 golfers came together from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Florida to golf at Centennial Acres in August. Twenty businesses and individuals partnered with us to sponsor the event. Over $13,000 was raised to underwrite the GLCC Crusader athletic budget. Next year’s event will be August 10, 2013.

Students in the Business Management-Nonprofit major are prepared for entry-level management positions in large nonprofit organizations as well as leadership positions in smaller organizations. The degree will also prepare the graduate to envision, start up, and manage a nonprofit entity.

The Urban Missions Minor is a unique program of study involving international placement in an incarnational, missional community, meaning students will be living in an urban low-income area with leaders and urban missionaries who are practicing mission through creating neighborhoods of hope.
