We're ROASTING Dr. Lloyd Knowles and you can get in on the fun too!
1. Attend the event in Lansing, Michigan on Friday, March 16.
Enjoy a raucous fundraising dinner in the Doty Center hosted by Frank Weller with a "star-studded" line-up of presenters.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., punchbowl begins at 6:30, and dinner is served at 7:00.
2. Donate to our phone-a-thon January 19-27. The name that will come up on caller ID is J. Milito and Associates. If you are a graduate, you will have the opportunity to give toward a class challenge of $5000. Class representatives have been designated to assist you in this challenge. If you missed the phone call, you can still donate on-line, just be sure to choose the Phone-a-thon designation.
3. Send us a 30-60 second video of yourself joking at the jester's expense! As time allows, we will show the videos at the roast. Your video may be included on the Joking with the Jester DVD to be sold following the event (all proceeds to fund the Knowles Learning Center). 4. Join us for a live on-line event! March 1-15 you can bid on items in our auction on Facebook. You can also join us on Twitter @GLCCCrusaders during the Roast on March 16 where we will tweet out some of the really good zingers and share your tweets live to all in attendance at the dinner. Tweet with the hashtag #RoastLloyd. More information about attending a live Twitter event still to come.
5. Buy the DVD. We will record the entire event and compile a DVD for sale after the event. Pre-orders can be made at the dinner. More info to come!
