Every summer Great Lakes Christian College selects a group of students who represent us at various camps and youth conferences to share the love of Christ and make a difference in the lives of youth throughout the Midwest. This is what we call the Summer Outreach Teams. The Summer Outreach Teams will travel to nearly 20 different locations in six states, leading worship and teaching, playing games and building relationships with an estimated 8,000 high school students. And they do it all in eight weeks.
Our Summer Outreach Team members endure a long application process, having to prove themselves time and time again through an extensive training process covering topics like Conflict Management and Pedagogical Studies. We at Great Lakes Christian College are exceedingly proud of our past Summer Outreach Teams and are extremely excited about the one to come this summer.
