Bible & Theology
Preparing Servant-Leaders
The main mission of Great Lakes Christian College is “to prepare students to be servant-leaders in the church and world.” One of the ways we equip students to do this is by giving them the foundation of faith that begins with Bible & Theology. Every student pursuing a bachelor’s degree must major or minor in Bible & Theology. Students who pursue this major will take a total of 40 credit hours of concentrated Bible teaching. Students who pursue this minor will take a total of 24 credit hours.
Are you passionate about deepening your understanding of the Bible and its theological foundations? Look no further than Great Lakes Christian College. Our programs are dedicated to training leaders for the church and the world, equipping you with the Biblical knowledge and skills to make a lasting impact.
Our curriculum provides you with a foundational knowledge of the Bible’s contents and reliable approaches to its interpretation. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the scriptures with academic rigor and spiritual depth.
We believe in cultivating a biblically grounded commitment to Christ and His purpose for the church and world. Through theological reflection and practical application, you will articulate and demonstrate your understanding of biblical history, narratives, writing styles, concepts, and teachings. As a graduate, you will embody the values and principles that underpin the foundation of the Christian faith.
Learn to apply biblical teachings and principles to real-life situations in the church and the world. Gain the tools and discernment needed to navigate complex issues and provide wise and compassionate guidance.
